What is Included: ACP services include pre- and post advising, an International Student ID card when not offered by the program provider, and limited health and travel insurance. Alma College tuition is charged for off-campus study tuition. When the total cost of the off-campus tuition exceeds Alma College tuition for the same semester, the student will be billed for the additional amount.
All program related fees other than tuition such as room, board, books, etc. that are invoiced to Alma College will also be added to the Alma College student account.

Estimated Costs: Refer to the Cost Estimate attached for an approximation of program costs. The document will be updated when Alma College publishes next year’s tuition fees, and when the program send Alma their fee changes, if any. This document is shared with the Student Financial Assistance office when a student applies for off-campus study.

Program Description

The University of Wollongong main campus is on 204 acres with 94 permanent buildings including six student residences. The teaching, research and cultural life of the University is supported by state-of-the-art facilities, including an extensive library collection, an interactive Science Center,and Conservatorium of Music. The recently expanded Recreation and Aquatic Center provides excellent fitness and sporting facilities.

Students seek approval prior to the program start to enroll in subjects including Australian studies, arts, international relations and business, environment and ecology, medical and health sciences, media culture and communication, pre-law, psychology, public health, sustainability, and more.

Housing options vary by cost, meal plans, and services. Most offer half their rooms to international students, providing an opportunity to live with Australians and students from all over the world.

City transportation options include buses and the city rail. Within walking distance of campus are some of Australia's finest swimming and surfing beaches. Fifteen minutes from campus, the University Railway Station offers inexpensive travel to Sydney. The city of Wollongong is a large commercial, retail and industrial center with a population of over 320,000. Students have access to a wide variety of facilities and local attractions in the city, including:

• Historic villages
• Recreation from amusement parks to parasailing
