What is Included: Participating students will be assessed the cost of the host program’s tuition and room. Other fees invoiced to Alma College by the program will also be added to the Alma College student account. A Registration Fee of $500 will be assessed to help cover administrative costs associated with processes and oversight.

Program Description

The University of Konstanz offers an Intensive German Language course at levels Grundstufe - Basic, Mittelstufe - Intermediate, and Oberstufe - Advanced. The language course will be accompanied by a welcome program in the afternoons and on some weekends, and includes lectures on history, art, culture, and politics, as well as guided tours, visits to towns, and excursions in the Lake Constance region. In addition, visits are typically planned to some member institutions of the International Lake Constance University. The Lake Constance Summer School will be organized by the Interntional Office of the University of Konstanz in collaboration with the Language Institue of the University of Konstanz.
