Located on the broad Wilhelmshöher Allee near the gates of the old city, Europa Kolleg, Kassel e.V offers a truly international setting. Europa Kolleg is a language institute that provides instruction in German language and culture to students from around the world. Alma College students have been attending this program taught in German since 1982. Completion of two semesters of college-level German is required for semester participants; no language requirement is necessary for summer enrollment. Homestays offer students the opportunity to live, interact and build a relationship with their German host family that provides breakfast, dinner, weekend lunches, and a private room.
