The AHA Athens Humanities program is designed for students who are looking for a strong academic program while living the culture and history of the birthplace of democracy. Athens is your classroom--archaeological field trips and cultural outings provide an integrated approach designed to immerse you in both the ancient and the modern culture and diversity of Greece. Link your sense of adventure and exploration to your educational endeavors. You will take courses at the Athens Centre, an educational organization located in central Athens, where students from all parts of Europe and America come to study Greek language and civilization. Courses take place at the Athens Centre’s neoclassical facility in the central Athens area of Mets. The Centre is surrounded by a courtyard of greenery, statues, clay pots and ancient pieces of marble. Additional buildings include a computer centre, residence and lecture halls. The capital city of Athens is a lively cosmopolitan metropolis, central to economic, financial, political and cultural life in Greece.
